We had a saying.."when you begin to slip and slide...get the shows with the stars on the side". I just ordered my two year old his first pair. I'll tell him the legend behind the shoes when he's older.

The color, the fit, everything in short, was exactly what was promised. Grasshoppers are the most comfortable shoes I have found in a very long time. They were shipped as promised, also.
I own 3 pair of crocs.one is the mule type and 2 are these "athens" thong type. I am 45 yrs. old and I have never,not one time ever found thong sandles I could wear because they hurt my toes,until crocs.I don't work outside the home so when I say I wear them 24/7 I truly mean it.I have one pair that I wear outdoors and the other as house shoes.I weight 296lbs. (I tell you this because shoes and me don't get along" but these are soooo easy on my feet.My feet use to ache and now they don't.(I often forget I have them on at all) I spent alot on "Berks" until I found these and they are 100% better.they can be held under the water to wash off and when dull I just rube a little vasaline on them so they shine again. best $30 I ever spent.Oh, and the best part, they last years,My first pair are now 3 yrs old and are worn looking but the comfort level has not changed.

I ordered these for my wife, at a good price, less than $20.00, and they arrived quickly.
My wife was surprised at the quality and comfort of the shoes. She had nothing but good to say about the shoes, other than I should order a pair, of the man's shoe from this company, for myself.
These shoes are my first Simple purchase and I am so happy with them. They are comfy and I love to wear them. When I first got them they were a little snug. After wearing them a few times they fit perfect.
opinion :
I gave Toms shoes as a gift to my 2 year old niece. My cousin loved it, loved the simplicity of the shoes and the colorful design.
I own a similar pair for adults and I love my Toms. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes you can own. Easy to slip on and slip off. Although if you continuously wear it for a long time you will start to see some wear on the soles.
Also the fact that Toms gives away a pair to child in need in Argentina makes this gift even more special. I am buying a pair of Toms for all my nieces and nephews

I love this shoe for the simple stance on recycling it takes... but once i got it and wore it i love it for it's top quality & cute comfortable appearance. I plan on ordering one in almost every color! They run pretty true to size and trust me when I say, you can't have just one pair! They have a very padded & soft foot-bed, and walking around all day in these is a great pleasure! plus you look cuter than all get out! :-)
First, I FINALLY really love these shoes/slippers. The problem is that it took trying three pairs to find ones that almost fit!
I own two other shoes made by Simple, and they're both about 1 1/2 years old. They fit PERFECTLY, which is great because my feet are slightly narrow, and they're size 11M's. This makes sense because I almost always wear size 11.
So, I ordered a size 11M pair of these, and, while they were a little short for my right big toe, what was worse was that they were WAY too narrow, feeling almost as if I had a compression wrap over the top-front of my foot. VERY uncomfortable. I returned those and ordered an 11.5M.
These turned out to be even shorter than the 11's (!!!), but they were somewhat wider. Those went back too, and I ordered a size 12M. They fit much better, but they're actually a little loose, more in the area of width than length.
They are extremely comfortable, and all 3 pairs I saw were VERY well made and look as durable as the other Simples I've owned. My advice, though, would be to order a FULL size larger than you usually wear, and, hopefully they'll fit.
I appreciate and applaud Amazon's paying for shipping both ways on all of these, but I expect their price will have to go up soon because, as I calculate it, with their paying shipping 5 ways, they couldn't have grossed more than a dollar on these. They could save themselves some money by posting to order a full size larger, as many other reviewers have noted.
